Expectations To offer a warm, friendly and professional welcome to guests To create a comfortable environment for guests To sell and promote the services and products offered by the Scandinave Spa Whistler To complete tasks assigned by Team Lead on duty Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Hourly Rate: $21.48/hour Benefits: Complimentary thermal baths membership for yourself Extended Health Benefits after 9 months (full-time only) Massage Discounts of up to 35% Food and beverage discounts for onsite café of 25% Winter Whistler Blackcomb Spirit Pass or Wellness Program (full-time only) Complimentary thermal baths membership for one friend, after 3 months (full-time only) Corporate discount vouchers for friends and family visiting Scandinave Spa Staff accommodation, based on availability (full-time only) Flexible Schedule Tasks & Responsibilities: Welcome guests to Scandinave Spa Whistler as per spa standards: Provide detailed information regarding the Thermal Journey Experience, Massage Services and other products offered. Explain the key features of our site, ensuring they embrace our silence and digital detox guarantee. Understand guest needs and recommend appropriate services, products, and experiences. Support group bookings and requests in alignment with Sales and Marketing directives. Communicate and manage the guest waitlist under direction from the Team Lead. Ensure reception and guest areas (lobby, fireplace, bathrooms, and change rooms) are clean, orderly, and aligned with spa ambiance standards. Ensure adequate staffing presence in the reception Perform opening and closing duties for the Front Desk. Accurately process a variety of transactions using TAC or Zenoti, including: Reservations for Scandinavian Baths and massages Gift certificates and gift cards Boutique and Bistro purchases Ensure control and distribution of locker keys, towels, bathrobes, and other supplies. Follow lost and found procedures. Receive and manage incoming mail and packages. Monitor and replenish supplies at the Front Desk (e.g., pens, brochures, gift cards) Ensure adequate stock of towels, bathrobes, and other spa products. Restock Boutique and Bistro items regularly. Be knowledgeable about current and upcoming sales and marketing promotions. Including applying and processing promotional offers in Zenoti. All other tasks requested of you for the smooth and efficient function of the Spa Scandinave Whistler Prerequisites: Previous customer service experience preferred Energetic and positive team player Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proactive, creative problem-solving skills with an ability to remain calm and professional at all times Clear criminal record check Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends #WHISPA23
