Job Overview We are seeking vigilant and professional Event Security Guards to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and venue premises during events. The ideal candidate will play a key role in crowd management, access control, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. This position requires strong situational awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively in dynamic, fast-paced settings. Responsibilities Monitor and control entry and exit points to ensure only authorized individuals gain access Conduct bag checks and verify tickets, credentials, or identification as required Manage crowd flow and maintain order during events to prevent overcrowding or disturbances Patrol assigned areas to identify and address safety hazards or suspicious behavior Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, or guest concerns Enforce event policies, venue rules, and safety regulations at all times Provide clear directions and assistance to guests to ensure a positive event experience Maintain accurate incident reports and communicate effectively with supervisors Work collaboratively with event staff, management, and emergency services when required Experience Previous experience in event security, customer service, or related fields is an asset Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure or crowded environments Good observational skills and attention to detail Familiarity with basic security procedures and crowd control practices Valid security guard licence, smart serve certification and CPR This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of dynamic events while ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees. Requirements
