The Family Medicine Physician will play a crucial role in enhancing the health and well-being of our community. *Responsibilities* * Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations. * Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses across various age groups. * Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences. * Provide preventive care, including immunizations and health screenings. * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively. * Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner or Epic. * Educate patients and their families about health management, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices. * Participate in research initiatives to improve patient outcomes and advance medical knowledge. * Stay current with advancements in family medicine and medical terminology. *Experience* * Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. * Board certification in Family Medicine is preferred. * Experience in a medical office or hospital setting is highly desirable. * Familiarity with home care practices is a plus. * Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly Cerner or Epic. * Strong understanding of acute care practices and pediatrics is beneficial. * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families. * Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care while maintaining professional standards.
