Basic Qualifications: A successful candidate will hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch AND possess one or more of the following: Training Specialization: Elementary Education with specialization at the Primary level Related Teaching Experience: Recent successful experience teaching at the Primary level A Reasonable Expectation: based on a teacher's skills, abilities, professional development, and overall classroom teaching experience, that the teacher will be able to perform the duties in a successful manner in collaboration with other professional staff. Additional Qualifications: Not required for this posting Other: Willingness to work as part of a team in the development and implementation of the School Growth Plan Willingness to work as a member of the school-based team Willingness to support whole school environmental initiatives Commitment to school-wide Positive Behaviour Support program as a form of addressing behaviour in the classroom and the school as a whole The annual salary for the full-time Teacher ranges from $64,901 to $116,190 with placement on the range based on length of service with qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
