𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲: Endocrinologist Advisor Healthcare Shares is seeking experienced endocrinologists to serve as Endocrinologist Advisors. This role is ideal for physicians with firsthand experience in diabetes care, obesity medicine, thyroid disease, metabolic health, hormone disorders, chronic disease management, remote patient monitoring, digital health, medical devices, healthcare AI, value-based care, or healthcare innovation. As an Endocrinologist Advisor, you will provide clinical, operational, and strategic insight to help Healthcare Shares evaluate, support, and grow healthcare startups within our venture capital fund, venture studio, and broader healthcare entrepreneurship ecosystem. This is a flexible, remote advisory opportunity for endocrinologists who are passionate about improving chronic disease care, metabolic health, patient outcomes, access, affordability, and innovation through entrepreneurship. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 • Provide clinical and strategic guidance on healthcare startups focused on endocrinology, diabetes, obesity medicine, metabolic health, chronic disease management, remote patient monitoring, diagnostics, digital health, healthcare AI, and related areas. • Support Healthcare Shares in evaluating healthcare startups, founders, business models, clinical relevance, workflow fit, scalability, patient impact, and social impact potential. • Advise portfolio companies, venture studio projects, and healthcare entrepreneurs on endocrinology workflows, physician adoption, patient engagement, care coordination, clinical validation, commercialization strategy, and go-to-market considerations when appropriate. • Offer relevant introductions, industry insight, and subject matter expertise across endocrinology, primary care, health systems, chronic disease management, medical devices, diagnostics, healthcare technology, and startup ecosystems. • Participate in periodic advisory discussions and contribute practical recommendations based on your clinical experience and area of expertise. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 • MD or DO with experience practicing endocrinology. • Board certification or board eligibility in endocrinology preferred. • Experience in diabetes care, obesity medicine, metabolic health, thyroid disease, hormone disorders, chronic disease management, remote patient monitoring, digital health, healthcare AI, startups, investing, advisory work, or healthcare innovation preferred. • Strong understanding of endocrinology workflows, patient care pathways, physician adoption, chronic disease management, patient engagement, and real-world barriers to healthcare technology adoption. • Ability to commit approximately 2–4 hours per month to advisory board participation and strategic advisory activities. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 This Endocrinologist Advisor role offers the opportunity to receive carried interest in the Healthcare Shares venture capital fund. Advisors may also have opportunities to support Healthcare Shares venture studio companies and startup clients, including potential sweat equity opportunities when applicable.
