Manager on Duty responsibilities, in the absence of the Manager of the hotel. Requirements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills An understanding of the front desk function in a hotel, with a working knowledge of reservation systems Basic accounting knowledge Excellent computer skills Excellent typing skills – this requires 35 words / minute The ability to speak in both French and English languages is a strong asset! Exceptional organizational and analytical abilities Courteous telephone manners The ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision Education Requirements Secondayr School Skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Understanding of the front desk function in a hotel, with a working knowledge of reservation systems Basic accounting knowledge or audit experience Excellent computer skills Bilingual in both official languages is an asset.
