Your Opportunity: As the Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will operate in one or more of the specialized, highly technical environments of Nuclear Medicine. Working with a high level of independence, you will assess patients, analyze, and interpret diagnostic data, and provide information to the Radiologist to assist in diagnosis, clinical intervention, and patient management. Description: As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) I, you will be responsible for performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. As a NMT I, you will perform Nuclear Medicine procedures as described in the department procedure manual using a wide range of equipment such as gamma cameras, computers, ECG monitors, cardiac stress equipment, and radiation safety devices. Classification: Nuclear Medicine Tech I Union: HSAA Facility PROF/TECH Unit and Program: Diagnostic Imaging Nuclear Medicine/ PET Primary Location: Foothills Medical Centre Location Details: As Per Location Multi-Site: Not Applicable FTE: 0.90 Posting End Date: 13-OCT-2026 Temporary Employee Class: Temp P/T Benefits Date Available: 23-OCT-2026 Temporary End Date: 23-APR-2027 Hours per Shift: 7.75 Length of Shift in weeks: 12 Shifts per cycle: 54 Shift Pattern: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends, On Call Days Off: As Per Rotation Minimum Salary: $42.62 Maximum Salary: $54.78 Vehicle Requirement: Not Applicable Required Qualifications: Completion of diploma from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMT) Program. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT). Additional Required Qualifications: Nuclear Medicine Technologists – Lasix certification as required. ACMDTT Enhanced practice authorization for PET/CTSPECT/CT. ACMDTT Enhanced practice authorization for Contrast Media Injections. N95 fitting. Preferred Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years Nuclear Medicine/PET experience. Connect Care Training preferred.

A diploma from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program and active or eligible registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic & Therapeutic Technologists are required. Additional requirements include applicable Lasix certification, enhanced practice authorizations for PET/CT or SPECT/CT and contrast media injections, and N95 fitting; at least two years of Nuclear Medicine/PET experience is preferred.
