West End Psychological Services is currently looking to hire a part-time Occupational Therapist with experience providing exposure interventions and/or cognitive rehabilitation (i.e., for depression, psychosis and/or concussion). Our clinic is well-established and located in the West End of Toronto (near High Park). We provide assessment and treatment services to adults, couples and adolescents. We are a dynamic and experienced team with a broad focus that includes specialization in work with marginalized populations and populations with complex presentations. As such, we offer a supervision model, peer consultation, additional training opportunities and extensive clinical support. Our work environment is diverse, positive, supportive and collaborative. Our team is made up of fully qualified and qualifying Psychologists, Psychological Associates and Social Workers who have extensive experience in CBT as well as DBT, Motivational Interviewing and EFT. Our aim is to provide both excellent care to the community in which we work as well as specialized expertise in areas such as LGBTQ-informed care and evidence-based support for specific conditions such as Borderline Personality Disorder, psychosis, PTSD and concurrent disorders. We provide weekly supervision and support as well as weekly team meetings for all clinicians to discuss clinical issues. We would welcome applicants with training and experience in: Prolonged Exposure Therapy Behavioural Activation Cognitive Remediation Working with disability insurance providers and WSIB (particularly related to PTSD) Availability to work evenings and/or Saturdays is an asset; otherwise, hours are flexible, and our rate of pay is competitive. Requirements
Applicants should be qualified Occupational Therapists with experience in treating depression, psychosis, or concussion. Training in Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Behavioural Activation, and working with WSIB or disability insurance is highly welcomed.
