Role Description This Regional Minister role is an opportunity to strengthen youth and young adult ministry across MCEC by supporting congregational leaders, cultivating relationships and helping young people find belonging, purpose and leadership opportunities within the church. MCEC is seeking a Regional Minister who will catalyze congregational ministry by equipping and inspiring leaders of congregational youth and young adult programs. The successful candidate will have significant youth ministry experience and a vision for thriving Anabaptist congregations committed to including youth and young adults in the life and ministry of the church. Qualifications Significant experience in youth and/or young adult ministry in multiple contexts Track record of successful work in an intercultural or immigrant context A relevant bachelors degree, including completion of courses in practical theology, Anabaptist studies and biblical studies; a Master of Divinity degree is preferred Ordination in good standing in the Mennonite Church (or a sibling denomination) or willingness to pursue ordination Demonstrated excellence in English communication, fluency in French is an asset Commitment to professional development, training and ongoing learning To Apply: Interested candidates can submit their resume and letter outlining their fit for the role to Laurie Castello, Operations and Finance Director, hr@mcec.ca. Requirements

Candidates need significant youth or young adult ministry experience across multiple contexts, a successful record in intercultural or immigrant settings, and a relevant bachelor's degree with coursework in practical theology, Anabaptist studies, and biblical studies; a Master of Divinity is preferred. Ordination in good standing in the Mennonite Church or a sibling denomination, or willingness to pursue ordination, is required, along with excellent English communication, a commitment to ongoing learning, and preferably French fluency.
