Role Description The Remote Customer Support Specialist is a part-time role responsible for assisting clients and attendees with inquiries before, during, and after events. On a day-to-day basis, this role responds to emails, chats, and calls, provides technical support for event platforms or registration systems, and resolves issues in a timely and professional manner. The specialist documents common questions, updates FAQs, and collaborates with the event coordination team to ensure a consistent, high-quality support experience. This role also gathers feedback to help improve processes and enhance overall customer satisfaction. The position is fully remote, requiring reliable internet access and the ability to work flexible hours aligned with event schedules. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Customer Support and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on resolving issues and delivering a positive experience. Candidates should possess excellent Interpersonal Skills, including clear communication, empathy, and the ability to build trust with diverse clients and attendees. Candidates should possess Technical Support and Analytical Skills to troubleshoot basic technical issues and interpret information to find effective solutions. Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple inquiries and prioritize tasks in a remote environment. Candidates should possess proficiency with common digital tools (email, chat platforms, ticketing systems) and the willingness to learn event-specific software. Previous experience in customer service, event support, or a related field is preferred, along with a high school diploma or equivalent; additional education in communications or hospitality is a plus.
