Job summary

Under the guidance of the Supervisor or Outlet Manager, Food & Beverage, the Server plays a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience within Asylum at Casino Vancouver. This position brings high‑energy hospitality to a dynamic entertainment environment, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, valued, and well cared for. The Server upholds all company policies and procedures, contributes to a safe and inclusive workplace, and models service excellence through professionalism, teamwork, and genuine guest engagement. Key Accountabilities * Greets guests warmly, using names whenever possible to create a personalized and memorable experience. * Escorts guests to tables when required, presents menus, and highlights daily features and promotions. * Describes menu items and beverages with confidence, including preparation methods and flavour profiles. * Takes accurate guest orders, offers thoughtful recommendations, and anticipates guest needs. * Serves food and beverages promptly, checks in for satisfaction, and ensures a seamless dining experience. * Prepares beverages and select food items when applicable. * Addresses guest concerns with professionalism or escalates to leadership when needed. * Presents bills upon request and processes payments accurately. * Clears and resets tables, maintains cleanliness, and restocks service areas as required. * Completes opening and closing responsibilities, including cash float counts when applicable. * Assists in covering other sections to support overall service flow. * Exercises sound judgment when serving alcoholic beverages and follows Serving it Right standards * Communicates effectively with all operational departments to support smooth service. * Builds strong working relationships with guests, ownership, and team members. * Ensures adherence to licensing laws, health and safety standards, and all regulatory requirements. * Performs other duties as assigned to support the success of the venue. Education & Qualifications * Ability to work until 3:00am on Friday and Saturday evenings. Availability to work Thursday to Sunday is ideal * Minimum 1 year of serving experience with strong, service‑oriented communication skills. * Experience with Squirrel POS system an asset * Serving It Right Certification * Ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming Worker License.
