NIGHT CLEANER

Millcroft Inn & Spa is currently seeking 1 Night Cleaner to join our growing team! Job Title: Night Cleaner Location: 55 John St, Alton, ON L7K 0C4 Property: Millcroft Inn & Spa This posting is for an existing within Lais Hotel Properties Limited. Position Summary: Ensures that all public areas including the lobby, washrooms, hallways, dining facilities and conference rooms are cleaned and set up in a tidy manner daily. Duties and Responsibilities: Primary Responsibilities: * Providing personalized and exceptional guest service at every given opportunity * Responsible for cleaning all areas as set out in the evening checklist * Ensures all supplies are replenished as necessary * Reports any maintenance requirements and any other circumstances that require attention within the area being cleaned * Meeting established up-selling and sales goals * Having a thorough knowledge of Lais Hotel Properties’ products and services * Suggesting additional products and services meeting our guests’ specific preferences * Assessing Guests’ individual needs to meet standards for additional products and services * Actively seeking ways to meet Guests’ product or service needs * All other duties as assigned Professional Requirements: * Grade 10 Education and 3 months ongoing training in a similar position * Basic literacy skills required * Must be aware and trained in safety procedures involving chemicals (WHMIS) * Previous up-selling and/or sales experience is considered an asset Personal Attributes: * Good physical shape for bending, lifting and walking * Dependable, steadfast worker who can work without supervision * Good personal hygiene * Confidence in selling an up-selling products and services * Positive sales-oriented personality * Desire to meet goals * Ethical and honest Physical Challenges: * Lifting, bending and extended periods of standing required to perform duties * Working with cleaning chemicals on an ongoing basis Questions, quoting the job title and location, may be directed to [email protected] [[email protected]] Lais Hotel Properties Limited is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and accessible workplace where all individuals are valued and respected.
