Job Description Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of permanent part-time Clerk/Cashier (24-39 hours/week) (3 Positions) at our C-Store and Gas Bar Location in Big River, Saskatchewan. Reporting to the C-Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following: Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach. Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels. Provide in-store service; serve guests, operate the point of sale (POS) system, stock shelves, face shelves, and perform general housekeeping duties. Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company and government policies, procedures, and standards in social responsibility of the selling of age restricted items such as lottery, tobacco. Ensure a culture of safety while maximizing operational efficiency. Have a good working understanding of the POS system. Receive, price and display merchandise as required specified by the team leader. Complete the necessary daily reconciliations and reports. Support and follow the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies and procedures. Perform all other duties as assigned.
