Job Description Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the positions of three Student Grocery Clerks (After School, Weekends, & Holidays) at our Food Store location in La Ronge, Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Grocery Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following: Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members’ lives with a strong customer-focused approach. Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels. Serve guests, stock products, face shelves, and perform cart retrieval as needed. Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf; follow first in, first out (FIFO). Maintain a clean department by tidying shelves, bins, displays, breakages, and spills, and keeping aisles free of debris. Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures. Perform other duties, as assigned. Able to fulfill physical job requirements, including lifting of 25-50lbs, standing, walking, and kneeling. Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment. Familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices. Flexible work schedule, including after school, weekends, and holidays.
