Employment Type: Contract / Event-Based Schedule: Flexible; primarily weekends, evenings and event dates Location: Various event locations; travel may be required Department: Community and Sponsorship Position Overview The Hat Bar Experience Stylist is an energetic, customer-focused brand representative responsible for delivering a memorable and engaging Hat Bar experience at events, festivals, corporate activations, ranch events and other brand experiences. This is a contract, event-based position ideal for someone who enjoys western fashion, styling, working with people and creating unique customer experiences. The role requires flexible availability, with a strong emphasis on weekends, evenings and event dates. Hours will vary based on the event calendar and are not guaranteed. Key Responsibilities Hat Bar Experience * Deliver the complete Hat Bar customer experience from greeting through finished-hat reveal. * Help customers select hats based on fit, style and intended use. * Guide customers through selecting hat bands, feathers, charms and other approved accessories. * Provide styling recommendations while allowing the customer’s individual personality to guide the finished design. * Assemble and secure approved hat accessories according to Hat Bar standards. * Perform approved customization techniques after completing required training and certification. * Ensure every finished hat meets established quality and presentation standards. * Create an engaging reveal moment and encourage customers to enjoy and share their finished look. Customer Experience & Sales * Proactively approach and engage customers rather than waiting for customers to initiate interaction. * Explain the Hat Bar experience, customization options and pricing clearly. * Ask discovery questions to understand the customer’s style and preferences. * Recommend relevant products and customization options to help build the complete look. * Support event sales goals while maintaining a genuine, customer-first experience. * Represent the brand in a fun, energetic, approachable and professional manner. Event Execution * Work at scheduled Hat Bar activations, festivals, rodeos, corporate events, private events, ranch events and other brand activations. * Assist with event setup and teardown. * Set up hats, accessories, displays, signage, equipment and workstations according to established standards. * Maintain a clean, organized and visually appealing Hat Bar throughout the event. * Replenish hats, accessories and event supplies as required. Availability Requirements This is an event-based contract position and does not follow a traditional Monday-to-Friday schedule. Successful candidates must have flexibility to work: * Weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays * Evenings * Festivals and special events * Seasonal peak periods * Longer event days when required * Select weekdays based on the event calendar Event schedules and available assignments will vary throughout the year. The number of assignments or hours available may fluctuate based on business and event needs. Some events may require travel and/or overnight stays. Travel requirements and arrangements will be communicated in advance for applicable assignments.
