The Registered Practical Nurse will provide nursing care in accordance with physician orders and maintain appropriate patient care plans. They are also responsible for the safe handling of drugs and narcotics and ensuring timely patient admissions. Candidates must hold a current Registered Practical Nurse diploma and registration with the College of Nurses of British Columbia. Additional requirements include a current CPR license, injection administration certification, and knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation.
