Title BC Distribution Centre - Delivery Driver | Warehouse Associate Department Shipping & Receiving Hours Part-time Availability Required Weekdays Location 209 6901 72 Street Delta (BC Distribution Centre), BC Job Description This role includes duties as both a warehouse associate, as well as a delivery driver. Conduct pre-trip safety inspections of the vehicle before operation. Deliver product to customers on assigned routes using Long & McQuade trucks. Unload goods as per customer specifications Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks Distribute received shipments to respective departments within the warehouse Pick orders and process outgoing shipments to retailers, customers, and suppliers. Maintain shipping logs and properly file all paperwork Pack and unpack goods for shipping and receiving Use of forklifts, pallet trucks and shipping carts This is a physical job that requires lifting and moving merchandise for the duration of a shift. Job Requirements Valid Class 5 license with a clean driving record and at least 5 years of driving experience Comfortable driving large 5-ton box trucks (32 feet in length) Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs Must have strong attention to detail Enjoy working in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to excel in a self-directed work environment Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot Basic computer literacy and arithmetic skills Knowledge of musical equipment is an asset.
