Job Description This position performs duties necessary to maintain a sanitary and safe environment for all clients/patients, staff and visitors of the hospital. What must you have? Completion of Grade 10 education or the equivalent combination of education and related experience. Demonstrates ability to follow oral and written instructions and to communicate in English, both orally and in writing. Must be able to perform such manual tasks as mopping and buffing floors, wall washing, changing cubicle and window drapes, moving furniture, vacuuming, cleaning, and polishing. Proven attendance record. What else do you bring? Excellent organizational and time management skills including the ability to handle multi tasks and priorities. Excellent conflict resolution skills. Ability to understand relevant information to make effective judgments and decisions. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Demonstrated excellent ability to work with a variety of individuals in a co-operative manner both independently and as part of a team with minimal direction. Demonstrated commitment to customer service. Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrates understanding and complies with patient and staff safety policies and procedures that foster a safe and inclusive environment for all. Ability to perform the essential duties of the job. Requirements

Requires Grade 10 education or an equivalent combination of education and related experience, the ability to communicate in English, and a proven attendance record. Candidates must be able to perform physical cleaning tasks, follow instructions, maintain confidentiality, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment; prior experience in the Environmental Associate classification is preferred.
