Child Minding/Guest Services

Love ♥ your job! Mama Massage is looking for a Child Minding Specialist to work at our family-friendly spa in West Hills. In your position as a Child Minding Specialist, you will be responsible for creating a fun atmosphere for kids to learn and play for our “smaller clients” as well as answering phones, greeting guests and keeping our spa prepared for our guests. We have a youthful and vibrant staff that provides a fun, social atmosphere. The Role Provide high quality care for children by providing and taking part in play based activities or arts & crafts that stimulate and support children’s intellectual, physical, social, emotional and development Listening to, encouraging, enabling and ensuring the safe keeping of the children Develop creative games and activities to keep kids engaged on an hourly basis Build and maintain positive and professional relationships with clients and other staff Wash, dry, and fold laundry Answer phones a greet guests at the front door Book appointments on a computer Provide all necessary customer service Maintain the space: organizing and light cleaning Qualifications Experience in child care preferred, but not required. Mature, high energy, enthusiastic, creative, positive, hardworking, willing to learn, out-going, team player, Able to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently Basic computer skills Leadership skills and the ability to follow as well Hours will be casual, but scheduled well in advance

The specialist will provide high-quality, engaging care for children through play-based activities while ensuring their safety. Additionally, they will manage front-desk duties including answering phones, booking appointments, and maintaining the cleanliness of the spa.

Experience in child care is preferred but not required for this role. Candidates should be mature, energetic, and possess basic computer skills along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
