Job Details: Job Location: The Cannery Lofts - Niagara Falls, ON, Position Type: Part Time, Education Level: High School Or Equivalent, Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00Hourly, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Any, Job Category: Hospitality - Hotel, SALARY RANGE: $18.00- $21.00/hour- based on experience EMPLOYEE BENEFITS: Employee Discounts Free Parking Paid Time Off JOB OVERVIEW: The position has varied responsibilities and may include: cleaning and disinfecting guest rooms as assigned; cleaning public areas, including bathrooms; doing laundry; handling guest requests or complaints. The position is also responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and ensuring the confidentiality and security of all guests. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Use proper cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to hotel requirements. Clean, dust and disinfect all furniture/ fixtures and touch points in guestroom, including bathrooms and kitchens. Additionally, replenish all guest supplies and amenities. Remove and replace all linen upon every checkout. Clean guest rooms by category priority. Report any damages or maintenance problems. Collect, wash, fold and distribute laundry. Perform minor maintenance tasks. Always maintain security for guests and property by keeping room doors locked; reporting any suspicious activity by guests or others; properly labeling lost and found articles and turning them in; observing all other security and safety regulations. Perform other tasks as assigned. Return keys and board and check schedule for the next day. Report any occupancy discrepancies to supervisor Maintain storage areas and stock carts. Provide information to guest about local attractions/services. Listen and respond to guest’s requests or complaints. QUALIFICATIONS: High School graduate or equivalent vocational training. 1-year housekeeping experience preferred Ability to communicate in English with guests and hotel personnel to their understanding. Ability to adhere to Company’s dress code. Must be physically fit (able to lift up to 20 lb., walk up and down stairs, push/pull heavy carts, bending, stretching, kneeling) Smartphone to access Payroll system Qualifications:

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent vocational training is required, and one year of housekeeping experience is preferred. Candidates must communicate in English, follow the company dress code, be physically able to perform the listed duties, and have a smartphone to access the payroll system.
