Merit for Apprenticeship supports apprentices and employers by orienting, training, and placing qualified apprentices with employers to help streamline the way for apprentices in Ontario. Our mission is to support the growth of skilled trades in the construction industry by seeing more apprentices complete their Certificate of Qualification exam and deliver job-ready apprentices to employers by alleviating the administrative burden. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings, interpreting blueprints and specifications and ensuring compliance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code. For the Lead Hand role, organize job sites, coordinate materials and schedules, and guide team members to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
