Monarch House was established in 2009 in British Columbia as an interdisciplinary treatment centre for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and their families. Monarch House has now expanded its geographic network and services to include the full range of services for individuals with academic, behaviour, communication, learning, motor, physical, speech, social and mental health needs. Monarch House improves access to required services, coordinates treatment, and focuses on results for individuals of all abilities and understands and responds to changing needs throughout their lifespan. Our professional staff work collaboratively and/or individually with each client and specifically tailor services to their needs. Our services can be provided in our centres, at clients’ homes and schools, in the community, and in specialized housing settings. Working with the fields’ thought leaders, we conduct our own research and are committed to continuous learning to provide the most effective treatments possible. The Registered Behaviour Analyst is responsible for assessing, designing, and supervising ABA interventions for children and youth with developmental needs. They will also lead team meetings, provide training to staff, and collaborate with caregivers to update treatment plans.

The instructor therapist will prepare and conduct intensive ABA therapy sessions while maintaining accurate data collection and client documentation. They will also collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and communicate regularly with families and other professionals.

The Behaviour Interventionist implements clinical programs designed by a senior team to support skill acquisition and manage maladaptive behaviors in children and youth. They are responsible for maintaining a safe, engaging environment and assisting clients with personal care tasks such as dressing, toileting, and eating.

The Occupational Therapy Assistant implements intervention plans for children and youth with developmental delays under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities include tracking client progress, preparing teaching materials, and maintaining a safe and engaging environment for clients.

The Float Behaviour Interventionist executes intervention plans developed by a BCBA to support skill acquisition and decrease maladaptive behaviors in clients. They are responsible for ensuring consistent client coverage across various settings, including homes, schools, and community locations.
