The Shop Assistant supports daily warehouse operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and basic day-to-day responsibilities. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized shop floor, restocking shelves, handling merchandise, and assisting with inventory checks. The role also involves processing sales transactions, preparing orders for pickup, and coordinating with team members to ensure efficient service. The Shop Assistant may help with product displays, simple promotional activities, and general administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications Basic communication skills, organizing stock refills and transactions with other tesm members, on site or mobile. Organizational and time management skills to maintain shop cleanliness, manage stock, and complete tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Comfort working around tools and equipment, with the ability to learn product features and follow safety guidelines. Reliability and professionalism, including consistent punctuality, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to working with the team. Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights during shifts, following safe handling practices. Previous warehouse, hardware, automotive, or equipment shop experience is an asset but not required. No education level required; willingness to learn and participate in on-the-job training is essential.
