Home Employment Recreation Program Attendant(s) – Casual Part-time Location: Hants North and Mount Uniacke, NS We’re seeking applications for casual Recreation Program Attendants. If you have an interest in working for your community to provide support and supervision during recreation programming, we want to hear from you! We are specifically seeking additional programming support in the Hants North and Mount Uniacke regions for arts and crafts and sport programming. Recreation Program Attendants are responsible for set up and take down of program equipment, ensure program areas are tidy and free of barriers, provide administrative support such as signing in participants, tracking and reporting, and for championing a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all. What You Can Offer Experience leading and planning recreation programming for groups of all ages preferred, preference for specific age groups or type of programming will also be considered. Strong organizational, communication, problem solving, and conflict management skills Basic Workplace First Aid, training can be arranged, willingness to obtain required. Clean Vulnerable Sector and Child Abuse Registry Checks Solid understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging with skills to foster a welcoming and accessible environment for all participants Programs may be offered at the East Hants Aquatic Centre, East Hants Sportsplex or in schools and community halls in various locations across East Hants.
