Job details

Feeding Therapist (Speech-Language Pathologist): Infants & Toddlers MyBaby Unwind | King & Strachan, Toronto | Contract Who we are MyBaby Unwind is a multidisciplinary pediatric clinic that has been supporting Toronto families since 2018. We just moved into our new King & Strachan space, three times bigger than our old office, and we're growing the team. Our practitioners include RMTs, OTs, physiotherapists, IBCLCs, an osteopath and craniosacral therapists, all working together so families get connected care instead of being bounced around. The role This is a feeding-only role. We don't offer speech therapy at this clinic, so there's no articulation or language caseload. You'll focus on what you love most: helping babies and toddlers feed comfortably and safely. Who you'll support Infants having trouble latching at the breast or taking a bottle Babies preparing for a tongue tie release, plus post-op care and follow-up Babies with airway concerns, high palates, laryngomalacia or retrognathia Babies moving on from NG tube feeding Babies starting solids Toddlers who are picky eaters What the role includes Assessing each family's feeding challenges and building a personalized homecare plan Sharing every homecare plan as a document through JaneApp files, so families can come back to it between visits Booking follow-up appointments to track progress and adjust the plan as their baby improves Referring families to other practitioners at the clinic when it would help their care Who you are You're calm, warm and steady with parents who are exhausted, worried, and sometimes scared. You know a feeding struggle can feel like a parenting failure to a new mom or dad, and you know how to make families feel heard, reassured and capable. You love being on a team, and you get excited about referring families to colleagues and getting referrals back. Requirements Registered SLP in good standing with CASLPO At least 1 year of hands-on experience in infant feeding, including latch and bottle feeding, tongue tie prep and post-op care, and starting solids Experience with toddler feeding and picky eating Comfortable working with babies who have airway or structural concerns Comfortable with Jane (or similar booking software) for charting, sharing files and booking follow-ups Open to collaborative care and sharing clients within the clinic Understands craniosacral therapy and wants to learn more about it Bonus skills Experience working with IBCLCs, dentists or ENTs on tongue tie cases Experience with medically complex or post-NICU infants CST training, or interest in taking it (we run our own Beames CST training) Schedule Monday to Friday, 9:45 AM to 4:00 PM. You'll start with at least 2 days a week (6-hour shifts) and add more as your caseload grows. No holiday shifts required. Compensation & perks 60/40 split, 60% to you We handle reception, scheduling, direct billing and laundry, so you can focus on families Built-in referrals from a multidisciplinary team Studio access for running your own workshops (up to 8 babies and their families) A team that really does work together How to apply Email your resume and a short note about why infant feeding matters to you to info@mybabycst.com.
