ANBL Casual Warehouse Person Essential information Title: Casual Warehouse Person Location: 170 Wilsey Road, Fredericton, New Brunswick Language requirement: Written and spoken competency in English Compensation: $27.43/hour all inclusive What will you be doing? We are looking for engaged, energetic people to join our amazing Warehouse Team! The successful candidate would be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: * Participating in receiving products and assembling outgoing orders * Ensuring product data integrity; lifting light to heavy weight as required * Loading and unloading trailers and completing reports * Sorting and shipping miscellaneous non-alcoholic materials * Reporting and cleaning of breakage, counting and rotating stock; and refilling of pick locations * Operation of palletizing equipment as required in moving warehouse stock, and stocking pallets both at ground floor level and on “high reach” equipment up to heights of 12 feet +/- * Use of handheld scanners for processing work, utilizing voice technology, and performing routine preventative maintenance and checks to equipment. * Participation in daily exercise program and staff meetings is required. What do you need to be successful? * A completed high school or GED. Additional education, such as university or community college may be considered an asset. * You must be 19 years of age or older * Not currently employed by a brewing, distilling, or alcohol-producing company * You must be able to perform the physical component of the role consistently throughout you scheduled shift including, lifting 35-40 lbs, moving stock, unloading trucks * Possession of a valid license appropriate to the vehicle being operated. * Must have ability to deal accurately with numerical and alphabetical detail. Things to note about the position: This position is highly physical. The successful candidate must have the ability to perform all physical aspects of the position and must sign off on the following physical ability needs: * Repetitive shoulder movements * Repetitive bending and lifting * Lifting items more than 20 lbs (box of paper) * Overhead reaching * No sensitivity to chemicals * No environmental allergies (unless controlled) What’s in it for you?
