Company Overview We are a growing service company specializing in property maintenance, snow removal, lawn care, and general services. Our fleet is a critical part of our operations, and we are seeking a skilled Part-Time Fleet Mechanic to keep our vehicles running safely and efficiently. JOB SUMMARY The Part-Time Fleet Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing company vehicles and equipment. You will ensure that all fleet vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready for daily operations. This role involves hands-on mechanical work using a variety of tools and equipment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Inspect, maintain, and repair company vehicles and equipment * Perform routine preventative maintenance (oil changes, tire rotation, brake inspection, etc.) * Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs quickly and safely * Maintain accurate records of work performed on vehicles and equipment * Ensure all tools and equipment are used safely and properly * Respond promptly to any fleet repair needs as they arise WORK STRUCTURE * Part-time, hourly role (hours may vary depending on fleet needs) * Flexibility in scheduling may be required to handle urgent repairs REQUIREMENTS * Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license (GDL or Non-GDL) and reliable transportation to the shop/work sites * Basic mechanical knowledge (experience preferred but not required) * Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Physical ability to lift, move, and work around vehicles safely EXPERIENCE * Previous experience as a mechanic is preferred but not required * On-the-job training may be provided for less experienced candidates
