As a Pharmacist, you will: Provide patient-centered care along with exemplary customer service in collaboration with other healthcare providers and allied health professionals Filling, preparing, checking, and dispensing patient prescriptions ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal & company procedural requirements Provide clinical & practical medication counselling and education Effectively navigate and prioritize daily workflow in a team environment Exercise critical thinking, compassion and problem-solving skills in all areas of decision making Understand and maintain pharmacy inventory Open and close the pharmacy Maintain complete and accurate documentation as necessary for workflow and legal requirements Supervising all Pharmacy Assistants/Technicians and approving all their drug-related tasks Providing specialized clinical services, including administering medications by an advanced method, pharmacist prescribing (including but not limited to minor ailments and smoking cessation), and medication training and other clinical services as deemed necessary by the Pharmacy Contribute to the maintenance of a clean & organized work environment Contribute to a positive, friendly and respectful working environment Foster a growth mindset for self and the team Fulfilling all duties of a pharmacist as defined by the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba Skills & Qualifications: Completion of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy program from a recognized institution Licensed through the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba as a practicing Pharmacist and is in good standing Certification to administer drugs and vaccines by injection The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with effective problem-solving skills and a high degree of initiative Certification via an accredited program approved by the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba to prescribe medications for self-limiting conditions (ie. minor ailments, smoking cessation) and authorization to prescribe for Uncomplicated Cystitis is considered an asset An interest in innovative pharmacy practice Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions in a thorough, but timely manner. 1 to 2 years of Pharmacist experience in community setting considered an asset but not required Experience with Kroll pharmacy software considered an asset Oral and written fluency in English Operational Hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Why Join Northway Pharmacy? Requirements

Requires a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD and active licensure with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba. Must be certified to administer drugs and vaccines by injection.
