To that end, we provide training, flexibility and positional growth. Our contractor positions are completely flexible. Some contractors work a compressed schedule while others work throughout the week. This role is fully remote; however, we do have regional requirements. The Position This is a contractor role which will start at approximately 15 to 25 hours a week. Hours will be flexible but will be between the working hours of 8am to 5pm. There is the possibility for this role to convert to full-time as the company grows if desired. What You Will Be Doing The largest chunk of the role will be spent bookkeeping for a variety of companies ranging from turbocharged startups to small brick and mortars. You will spend the largest amount of your time bookkeeping and communicating with clients through email/zoom/telephone. The remainder of your time will be spent learning, engaging with the team and diving in where help is needed. Experience Level Candidate Profile You have a minimum of three years experience at a public practice accounting firm in a bookkeeping or accounting role and/or have a CPA or CPB. You’ve completed a BCom, BBA or Diploma with a focus on accounting. You are an articulate communicator, proficient in both verbal and written English. You have the ability to juggle multiple projects without losing focus of timelines, progress, and communication. You are resourceful, flexible and a quick learner.
