Req ID: 224590Location: Western Zone, South Shore Regional Hospital Department: FMS Laundry SSRHType of Employment: Casual Casual Relief (3%) x 1 Union: CUPE Support PositionPosting Closing Date: 1-Oct-26About the Opportunity To ensure the safe and efficient operation of the department equipment, in accordance with standards, regulations, and department policies; and to ensure the continuous processing of soiled and clean laundry and linen products in the department, so as to provide clean and safe products to be used by the laundry customers, in appropriate quantities; and to carry out the above functions in a professional manner, that achieves the mission, goals, and objectives of the Nova Scotia Health.About You We would love to hear from you if you have the following: Grade 12/GED or equivalent work experience required Knowledge of Infection Control procedures Completion of WHMS training Good knowledge of Infection Control guidelines as they pertain to an industrial laundry operation Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred Please ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications. Requirements

Requires a Grade 12 diploma or GED equivalent and completion of WHMIS training. Candidates must possess knowledge of infection control procedures relevant to industrial laundry operations.
