They are expected to work collaboratively with other health care providers, maintain accurate patient records in an EMR, and participate in quality improvement activities. Applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia and certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is also required.
