Our luxury Seniors Home, the Waterford of Summerlea in Edmonton, has an opening for a Lifestyle Specialist/Sales Professional. This exciting role is to provide a professional representation to all potential residents with the aim of achieving sales targets. The suitable candidate will be someone who understands the value of providing seniors a safe, positive, luxury environment to live and thrive in.  If you have sales experience and enjoy working with Seniors, this could be an ideal role for you—with flexible hours. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Escort visitors around our beautiful complex and ensure they are fully informed on floor plans, amenities, meal plans and activities.
  • Receive telephone enquiries from potential residents and provide appropriate information in a timely manner.
  • Maintain contact with potential residents through regular updates of promotions.
  • Follow the standard follow-up procedure with our clientele.  
  • Liaise with the General Manager to understand targets.
  • Close sales by completing new resident forms and taking deposits.
  • Process all required paperwork in a confidential and professional manner. 
  • Ensure sales and directional signs are placed and maintained. 
  • Ensure that personal presentation is professional and of the highest standard.
  • Carry out market research covering a 10km radius. 
  • Update and maintain sales lead sheets and customer records.
  • Attend weekly meetings with the General Manager 
  • Address complaints/issues/concerns and ensure that appropriate action is taken to resolve them.
  • Other administrative duties as required.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Excellent communication in English (written and verbal) and influencing skills.
  • Good at developing relationships.
  • Flexible and adaptable - able to work at all levels and with a hands-on approach.
  • Confident, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
  • Team commitment.
  • Demonstrates eye for detail and commitment to delivering excellent standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Effectively manage time in order to meet deadlines.
  • Professional presentation and approach
  • Ability to competently operate MS Office (Word & Excel)
