MEC is more than a store, and we are more than a place to buy hats and backpacks. We are physical and digital hubs for the outdoor community. People connect here, through our stores, online channels, over the phone, or through one of our leading events, clinics or services.

You are a “can do” person who likes to learn new things. You are good natured and have a welcoming vibe. You are outgoing and genuinely like helping people. Customer service is not just your skill, it’s your mindset. You will go out of your way to provide an excellent member experience. Previous retail or customer service experience are a plus, not a must. You can lift 50 lbs. and walk 10,000 steps per day.
You are passionate about the outdoors. You have product knowledge in camping, packs, climbing, cycling or any other outdoor activity, that is a great asset.
You have open availability on Saturdays, Sundays and one evening per week. You can work a minimum of once per week for a minimum of 4 hours.
