Staff Information Officer
Half-time, acting position (contract to August 31, 2018)

Reporting to the HRIS Liaison Officer, you will assist the Vista team in ensuring data accuracy and compliance with Ministry regulations, collective agreements, legislation, and Board policies and procedures, as well as develop and maintain OnSIS, Vista/HRIS process documentation and audit reports. As the Board's go-to person regarding Staff Information, you'll be expected to maintain current knowledge of Ministry requirements, align processes with data gathering, reporting requirements and timelines, and provide training, assistance and guidance on OnSIS and Vista/HRIS-related processes.
This Acting position of Staff Information Officer will see you assisting with Vista development, from identifying and resolving data gaps to testing data, preparing and updating user training documentation, creating, maintaining and reviewing various Crystal reports, auditing data entered in Vista and advising on appropriate corrections required. Ensuring accuracy on the submission of OnSIS Ministry reports, and participating in system upgrades, quality assurance initiatives and special projects will also be among your typical areas of responsibility.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
With a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and directly related experience, you have a solid foundation for success in this half-time role. As Acting Staff Information Officer, you'll also display the following strengths:
