Here's Our Current Opening:

Position:                                  Technology Sales Associate, part-time

Reports To:                              Manager, Technology/Cell and Wireless

Location:                                  U of T Bookstore, St. George Campus

Hours of Work:             +25hrs per week

Monday- Sunday

Must be available to work between the hours of 8:45am to 7:15pm Monday – Friday, 10:45 to 6:15pm Saturday – 10:45 to 6:15 Sunday – 11:45 to 5:15 (must be able to work weekends).

(Approximately 25-35 hours per week)

Here's what you'll be doing ….

You are upbeat, energetic, and a proven self-starter, able to work independently but also collaborate with a team. You will demonstrate and sell Bell Mobility merchandise to service the cell/wireless needs of the U of T campus community.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Consistently provides the highest level of customer service.
  • Assists customers by demonstrating and selling cell phones, wireless data devices, and accessories.
  • Operates a point of sale terminal (POS) to document sales transactions.
  • Fosters good relations between the Bell wireless store and the campus faculty, staff, and students to maximize sales and provide outstanding service.
  • Assists in providing reports as necessary to facilitate supplier conditions ensuring store merchandise is available for sale or on order.
  • Maintains merchandise by providing an appealing appearance of products.

Here's what we are looking for:

Education, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Post-Secondary education is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years retail experience, preferably in cell phone sales.

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.  
  • Ability to communicate clearly.
  • Highly organized, attention to detail, and functions well in a busy retail environment.
  • Good problem solving skills and initiative.
  • Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.Conscientious, efficient, dependable, energetic with a positive attitude.
