Tour Guide Lead (Permanent, Part-time)

This is a permanent part-time position with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours/week year-round.

Toronto Bicycle Tours & Events (torontobicycletours.com) is an award-winning company providing sightseeing tours, rentals and events in the Greater Toronto Area for guests of all ages and abilities (from ages 1 to 80+) from around the world.  Our guests have a fantastic, fun time while connecting to our city and gaining a deeper appreciation for Toronto, its people, culture, history and food.  We are celebrating our 10th year in business.

We are looking for two Tour Guide Leads to join us.  Reporting to the Founder, a Tour Guide Lead delivers tours and assists with the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring a smooth, safe operation that delivers excellent service and memorable experiences to our guests and clients.

Our business runs seven days a week in peak tourist season. A typical work week for a Tour Guide Lead is 20 hours, but the weekly schedule will vary depending on client demand and time of year - there will be weekend and evening work.

We are looking for a person who is looking for a unique opportunity to apply & grow their skills as people leader, problem solver, skilled cyclist and Toronto ambassador.

Our guides come from a variety of backgrounds, but they all live in (and love) Toronto, enjoy the outdoors, and are comfortable leading and entertaining groups. Maybe you're a grad student who loves to talk about urban affairs, an actor who relishes the opportunity to tell a great story, a hospitality worker who loves taking care of customers, or just an avid cyclist who believes that the best way to get to know a city is on two wheels.
