Job details
• $80–$170 per hour equivalent, paid per accepted task • 100% remote • Part-time • Fully flexible schedule Put your litigation judgment to work at the cutting edge of AI, on your own schedule, and get paid for the expertise you already have. The AI systems everyone is talking about are trained and tested by real legal experts. The teams building them need civil and commercial litigation attorneys who can create realistic strategy questions, assess how well AI handles legal materials and case analysis, write the response an experienced litigator would give, and explain exactly where the AI falls short. Your judgment helps shape the next generation of AI models. This is that work, done remotely around your current practice. What you'll do • Write and refine expert responses to litigation strategy questions in civil and commercial matters • Compare case materials and legal research with outputs generated by AI • Explain clearly why a model response is accurate, incomplete or wrong • Apply the same standard across multiple review assignments Why this is worth your time • Build real AI skills on top of your current job while earning the equivalent of $80–$170 per hour • Work directly with frontier AI tools and see how they are built, tested and improved, experience most litigation attorneys will not have for years • Build a career edge for what comes next: AI is reshaping legal practice, and the attorneys who understand it from the inside will lead that change • Fully remote and flexible, no fixed shifts, no commute Who this is for • Hold a Juris Doctor degree from a law school that is accredited • Have an active license to practice law in one or more U.S. jurisdictions • Extensive civil or commercial litigation experience, such as case strategy, discovery or motion practice; professional fluency in English • No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools. Pay and details • $80–$170 per hour equivalent; pay is per accepted task, as an independent contractor • Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, Canada How to apply 1. Apply on OpenTrain (about two minutes; upload your resume). 2. Complete a short application on the hiring platform. 3. If shortlisted, take a short AI interview. Most people hear back within days.
