As a PARC Housekeeper, you are a caretaker of this vision – responsible for cleaning resident suites and common areas to create a safe, tidy and pleasant environment for residents. This includes: * Cleaning and sanitizing suites, bathrooms, kitchens, floors and common areas according to a pre-set schedule. * Performing laundry services for residents as needed. * Identifying, reporting and logging potential maintenance issues to management. * Maintaining the housekeeping room, equipment and carts in safe and sanitary condition. * Replenishing housekeeping carts and managing cleaning chemicals safely. It takes a special kind of person to work here – does this sound like you? * You’re an upbeat, cooperative team member who brings positive energy to all you do. * You have at least two years of similar experience in the hospitality or senior-living industry. * You have completed Grade 10 high school education or equivalent, along with the WHMIS program, and you are able to read, write and effectively communicate in English. * You pride yourself on excellent attention to detail and work to the highest cleaning standards. * You’re able to self-direct and work effectively with minimal supervision. * You understand and respect the needs of seniors, their families, and and other professional services engaged with our residents. At PARC Retirement Living we require a Criminal Record Check, and a TB test within the first month of employment.

The housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing resident suites, kitchens, and common areas to ensure a safe environment. They also perform laundry services and manage housekeeping equipment and supplies.

Candidates must have at least two years of experience in the hospitality or senior-living industry and possess a Grade 10 education. Additionally, completion of the WHMIS program and the ability to communicate effectively in English are required.
