We are looking for a General Clerk/Cashier to work in multiple departments to join our location in Houston, BC. Departments include deli, bakery, grocery and front-end cashier. Open availability is preferred. Responsibilities: Create a positive and professional experience by greeting and assisting every customer. Ensure the department is well stocked and presented with the freshest products. Accurately price and label products. Share product knowledge and recommendations with customers. Assist customers with product requests and special orders. Resolve customer inquiries and concerns. Assist with receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise. Clean equipment and workstation to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment. Other duties as required. Qualifications: Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive shopping experience. The ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Retail or customer service experience is considered an asset. Compensation Details: $18.50 - $24.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.

The general clerk/cashier will assist customers, process transactions, and maintain the cleanliness and stock levels of various departments. They are also responsible for pricing products and providing recommendations to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Candidates should possess excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team. While previous retail experience is considered an asset, it is not explicitly required.
