The Peace River School Division requires a Part-Time (0.80 f.t.e.) Temporary Educational Assistant at Cleardale Colony School, located in Cleardale, Alberta. This position will commence on October 9, 2026 and contine until June 29, 2027. The initial assignment will include working in a multi-grade classroom, primarily with students in grades 4-9. Cleardale is a small farming community in the Peace River Country close to the banks of the Peace River. The community is approximately 200 km from Grande Prairie and 80 km from Fort St. John, British Columbia. Cleardale Colony Hutterite School serves students in grades 1 thru 9. Qualifications Educational Assistant Certificate or related experience and/or training Ability to work with students of different ages Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively Excellent organizational skills Requirements Provide an acceptable current Vulnerable Sector Check Please note, records check must be less than six (6) months old to date of your application. Consideration will be given to applicants who have an understanding of and appreciation for Hutterite culture and values. Bilingualism in English and low German is considered an asset. Requirements

Applicants need an Educational Assistant Certificate or related experience and/or training, along with the ability to work with students of different ages, strong communication and collaboration skills, and good organizational skills. An acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check issued within six months of the application is required; familiarity with Hutterite culture and values is considered, and English–Low German bilingualism is an asset.
