We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Medical Recruiter within our PMRI clinic located in Scarborough, Ontario. In this role, you will telephone screen potential participants at Pharma Medica Research Inc. (PMRI). This position reports to the Recruiting Coordinator and/or designate. Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Recruit new or existing participants. • Create, update and maintain participant files in PSMS. • Answer calls/emails from participants or call out from the match list. • Telephone screen participants, book and cancel appointments. • Share study-related information with participants according to protocol requirements and to the scope of delegation. • Work in screening reception independently. • Properly complete the documentation of clinical activities according to GCP, SOP guidelines and/or EDA/TPD regulations. • Other duties as required. Job Knowledge Minimum level of academic or formalized training: High School Diploma. Minimum amount of practical work experience: • 1 year of call center experience or related experience. • General knowledge of MS office Other Requirements • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. • Customer service skills: listen to volunteers/participants and professionally answer questions or address concerns. • Ability to confidently make any calls. • Troubleshooting skills to manage volunteers’ complaints. • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. • Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
