Your Opportunity: Are you passionate about public health and providing exceptional service? Join our team as a Specialized Support Team Clerk, where you'll play a key role in supporting Albertans with timely and accurate information about Annual Influenza and COVID-19 immunization services. In this frontline role, reporting to the manager of the Specialized Support Team, you will respond to inquiries from both the public and health care professionals, offering general vaccine information and assisting with appointment bookings. You’ll handle both inbound and outbound calls, leveraging various software platforms such as Connect Care and other online tools, to deliver high-quality, responsive service. As the first point of contact, you represent Primary Care Alberta, guiding individuals through available health services related to Influenza, COVID-19, and select number of other vaccines. You will also support Public Health teams with outbreak management and other callout efforts as needed. The Specialized Support Team Clerk is responsible for responding to vaccine-related inquiries, scheduling immunization appointments using appropriate booking systems, and providing accurate, up-to-date information through a variety of software tools and resources. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and customer service skills, a strong ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment, and comfort working across multiple software applications. Experience with Connect Care is considered an asset, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion is essential. Description: As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program. Additional Required Qualifications: 30 WPM Typing Speed. 2 years in a customer service role. Preferred Qualifications: Strong customer service skills. Experience in Connect Care and Netcare is an asset. Ability to communicate effectively and work with confidential information. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced, high volume, dynamic environment. Strong computer skills, effective time management and organizational skills. Previous experience in a contact center or giving info and referral information is an asset.

Requirements
