Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Non-profit Grant Writer to join our dynamic team dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of youth. In this role, you will be responsible for researching funding opportunities, developing compelling grant proposals, and managing relationships with funding agencies. Your efforts will directly support our organization’s faith-based mission by securing vital resources that enable us to provide youth with free programs. This volunteer position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while honing your skills in grant writing, research, and nonprofit development. Responsibilities Conduct thorough research on potential grant opportunities using databases and other resources to identify suitable funding sources aligned with organizational goals Develop clear, persuasive, and well-structured grant proposals tailored to each funding agency’s guidelines and priorities Maintain accurate records of grant applications, deadlines, and correspondence Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information and ensure proposals accurately reflect project objectives and outcomes Monitor the progress of submitted grants, follow up with funders, and prepare reports as required for grant compliance and renewal purposes Assist in developing marketing materials that highlight organizational achievements and funding needs to attract potential donors and partners Build and nurture relationships with funding agencies, community partners, and stakeholders Skills Strong research skills to identify new funding opportunities and stay informed about trends in the nonprofit sector Excellent written communication skills for crafting compelling proposals, reports, and marketing content Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising strategies and grant management processes (preferred but not required) Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment Join us in our mission-driven organization where your skills will help create lasting change!
