Position Department: Women's Soccer Position Type: Staff Part-Time Overview: RMU Athletics is looking for a Part-Time Women’s Soccer Coach that will assist the Head Coach in the overall management, competitive advancement, and daily operations of the collegiate soccer program. This is a part-time, not benefit eligible position limited to 950 hours in a calendar year and generally no more than 29 hours on a weekly basis. Responsibilities: * This role focuses on the technical development and tactical instruction of student-athletes through structured, high-tempo training sessions, position-specific drills, and strategic game-day coaching. * Responsibilities include detailed film breakdown and opponent scouting utilizing digital analysis platforms, assisting with regional recruiting pipelines to identify high-caliber prospects, and reinforcing a program culture centered on academic accountability, sportsmanship, and strict compliance with all NCAA and conference regulations. * Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent elite-level playing or coaching experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. * Minimum of 1–2 years of coaching experience at the collegiate, high-school varsity, or elite club level (e.g., ECNL, GA, or USYS National League), OR 2–4 years of competitive playing experience at the collegiate level. * Must possess advanced knowledge of technical skill development, modern tactical systems (e.g., formations, attacking/defending principles), and player safety/concussion protocols, backed by a strict commitment to NCAA compliance. Proficiency in soccer video analysis software (such as Veo, Hudl, or Spiideo) for match breakdown and opponent scouting is required, alongside strong talent evaluation skills to navigate regional club networks (e.g., ECNL, GA) for recruiting. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate tactical adjustments, mentor a diverse student-athlete population, and promote academic accountability.
