Position Department: Center For Student Success Position School: Administration: No School Overview: This position will serve as the a representative for the Center for Student Success and will be required to have a strong grasp on the mission and daily tasks of the Center for Student Success. Responsibilities: Essential duties will include: -Demonstrate knowledge of CSS tasks in order to effectively answer questions and direct guests -collaborate with CSS staff on data entry projects -assist with collecting and interpreting data for the CSS annual report -answer phones professionally and be able to operate phone system -assisting students with the tutoring/coordinator kiosk -creating flyers, generating student interest and working on the details to host student workshops -meeting and special event conception, planning, coordination, and support -assist in training/supporting junior student worker staff -assist in maintaining and tracking use of lending library textbooks and material -represent the Center for Student Success at events on campus -other duties as assigned to support the day to day operations in the Center for Student Success Minimum Qualifications: Student must be able to take initiative and follow directions well, or at least demonstrate a desire to grow in those areas, and be eligible for Federal Work Study. Currently enrolled at RMU. Knowledge of Microsoft systems. Knowledge of Social Media platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate ability to work as a team and individually. Academic Years Preferred: Any Academic Year Will Be Considered Wage: 9 Wage Frequency: Hourly Is this position funded through Federal Work Study dollars?: Yes Average Number of Hours Per Week: 10 Days of the Week to Work: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Occasional weekends.
