Position Department: Brand Department Position Type: Staff Part-Time Overview: We are seeking a creative and driven Part-Time Digital Media Content Creator to join our team. This role is a perfect fit for a recent graduate who is passionate about storytelling and visual media. You will play a key role in capturing the vibrant life of our campus, highlighting our schools and programs, and bringing campus stories to life through high-quality photography and videography. This position offers flexible part-time hours, allowing you to build your portfolio while continuing to collaborate with a team that already values your work and vision. Responsibilities: * Videography & Photography: Capture Campus Life: Shoot high-quality photo and video content of campus events, student life, academic achievements, and special highlights. * Storytelling: Turn campus events into compelling visual stories that resonate with students, alumni, and the broader community. * Video Editing & Post-Production: Dive into our existing media library to edit and repurpose previous shoots, creating fresh promotional material to bolster specific schools and programs. Edit raw footage into polished, engaging short-form and long-form videos optimized for various digital platforms (social media, website, presentations). * Production Assistance: Assist the core media team on larger, high-profile productions, helping with setup, lighting, audio, or secondary camera operation. * Bring fresh, post-grad perspectives to creative brainstorming sessions for future campaigns and content strategies. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree preferred. * No experience necessary. * Familiarity with Campus: A strong understanding of our school’s culture, branding, and community. * Technical Proficiency: Solid experience operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting gear, and audio equipment. * Software Skills: Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) and photo editing tools (e.g., Lightroom, Photoshop). * Time Management: Ability to work independently, manage project deadlines, and coordinate schedules around campus events.
