Job summary

Royal Glenora Club is seeking friendly, enthusiastic, and service-oriented full-time and part-time Servers to join our Food & Beverage team. As a Server, you'll play an important role in creating memorable dining experiences for our members and guests at one of Edmonton's premier private clubs. Responsibilities Welcome members and guests with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude. Provide exceptional food and beverage service in accordance with Club service standards. Take food and beverage orders and accurately and confidently answer questions about menu items, daily features, wines, and beverages. Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, wines, beverages, and Club offerings to confidently make personalized recommendations to members. Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy, quality, and presentation. Process payments accurately, including cash, debit, and credit card transactions. Set, clear, and reset tables while maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Work closely with the kitchen and team members to ensure efficient, seamless service. Respond promptly and professionally to member requests and resolve concerns when appropriate. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible liquor service standards. Requirements 4–5 years of professional serving experience in an upscale restaurant, hotel, or private club environment. Knowledge of fine dining service standards, wine service, and food and beverage etiquette is an asset. Experience providing personalized service to repeat guests or members is considered an asset. Ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver attentive, member-focused service. A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest service. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Professional, polished, and member-focused with a positive attitude. Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs. ProServe certification is required. A satisfactory criminal record check is required as a condition of employment. Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Full-time employees are eligible to participate in the club's benefits program following 90 days of continuous employment.

Requirements
