Job summary

We are looking for an active runner to lead Sherwood Park Running Room Run Club every Wednesday evening 6pm-7:15pm. Run Club leaders offer support to fellow members and try to create an inclusive environment where no one is left behind. Run Club leader sends 2 weekly emails to participants with Run Club details, Running Room events & meet-up details. Every Wednesday evening meet at Sherwood Park Running Room store. Leaders will organize participants in pace and/or distance groups. Then, lead group on the run, making sure everyone has a group to run or walk with. Run Club leaders can create themed Run Club nights Run Club leaders get paid $20 per hour/3hrs per week. Leader must be comfortable running 6-8km. Run Club is an extension of the Running Room’s philosophy on running. It is a community within a community where people of all skill levels can get together and enjoy all the running offers. It is a place to meet new people and make new friendships while achieving personal goals. Running Room welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities. Upon request, Running Room will provide accommodations from candidates taking part in the selection process

Candidates must be active runners comfortable running 6-8km per session. The role requires availability every Wednesday evening from 6pm to 7:15pm.
