MLC College is seeking an energetic, student-focused, and results-driven Education Counsellor / Admissions & Placement Coordinator to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities ✅ Counsel prospective students regarding career pathways, admissions requirements, funding options, and program selection ✅ Follow up on inquiries generated through digital marketing campaigns, referrals, walk-ins, and community outreach ✅ Convert leads into enrollments and consistently achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets ✅ Coordinate clinical placements, practicum opportunities, and employer partnerships, particularly for PSW and ECA programs ✅ Support students from inquiry through graduation, ensuring an exceptional student experience ✅ Assist with administrative activities including student files, attendance tracking, scheduling, compliance documentation, and campus operations as required ✅ Participate in educational fairs, networking events, and community engagement initiatives Preferred Qualifications ✔ Diploma or Degree in Business, Healthcare, Education, Marketing, or a related field ✔ Experience working in a Private Career College, Community College, or University environment ✔ Experience recruiting students into: • Personal Support Worker (PSW) Programs • Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) Programs • Healthcare Diploma Programs • Business Diploma Programs • IT and Technology Programs ✔ Familiarity with OSAP, admissions processes, student placements, and CRM/student management systems ✔ Existing relationships with healthcare providers, childcare organizations, employers, or community agencies would be an asset Compensation & Benefits 💰 Competitive Fixed Salary + Attractive Performance-Based Incentives 📈 Growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding institution 🌟 Supportive leadership and collaborative team environment 🏢 Excellent workplace culture and professional work environment 🎯 Opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students achieve their educational and career aspirations
