We are hiring for a Wine Advisor at our Whatcom Save-On-Foods location in Abbotsford, BC. For this position, you must be 19 years of age or older. 4-24 hours per week. Open weekend availability is preferred. You will be responsible for: Providing customers with information about various specially selected wines and making recommendations on tastings and food pairings when required. Providing demonstrations on various wine products to engage customers. Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members. Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented. Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience. Using a variety of equipment, including knives. You have: Serving It Right Certification or willingness to obtain it. A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service. A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude. Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
